Chocolate Scam!

I wonder, does Hershey's REALLY not think we'll see through the sale of their new "Air Delight" chocolate bar,  as not being a scam? A chocolate bar full of air holes, to give us LESS chocolate for the same money????

Strong people

I wonder if most people realize that the difference between strong people and weak people is this:

When something bad happens to a weak person, they figuratively go into the bathroom and lie on the floor pounding their hands and feet and crying until someone hears and comes and helps them up.

When something bad happens to a "strong" person, they figuratively go into the bathroom and lie on the floor pounding their hands and feet and crying until they eventually pick themselves up.

River of time

I wonder if, at this pre holiday time of year, anyone else feels like they are in a river of time, carrying them along to do things and to destinations they have to prepare for but do not really want to do or go to.

I wonder why I didn't realize that I AM smart and there was something wrong with my phone sooner! I've now have had it replaced by the NICEST people at Verizon and am happy as can be!

I wonder, if we use reminders on the computer, PDA or smart phone for remembering people's birthdays, doctor's appointments etc., shouldn't they really be called "eminders"?

I wonder why, (when over 60% of Americans are overweight, and in these days of everything having to be so politically correct), the emaciated writers in the entertainment industry still think fat jokes are funny, or for that matter, appropriate!

I wonder what makes people think it is OK to tell me in a public forum that they do not like something I made! I was brought up with "If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all."

Shrimp and Pistashios

I wonder why shrimp doesn't taste as good as it did years ago.
Come to think of it, neither do pistachio nuts!

I wonder how it can be that I am an only child and STILL not my Mother's favorite!

Making babies

I wonder why it is that women almost always CAN'T get pregnant when they are in estrus, while other mammals need to be. And, what about the great apes, are they like people or other mammals?

I also wonder if whales secrete blood into the waters when they are in estrus, do they attract sharks?

Re-occurring dream

I wonder what this re-occurring dream I have about having a pet and forgetting to feed it means. As long as I can remember, it has been canaries, (which I've never actually owned). Last night it was two adorable puppies! SO distressing!

Air Safety

I wonder how a website called Air Safety can say:

 

"Other Dangerous Items: Tear gas, spay paint, swimming pool or spa chlorine, and torch lighters."

 

Do they HAVE stuff you paint  on  dogs and cats to keep them from having babies?

 

Sure would "help control the pet population"!

Weekends

I wonder, do all the people who say to me on Fridays "Have a nice weekend" actually HAVE nice weekends?

In these days of everything being open 7 days a week, I am reminded of what an ex-boyfriend of mine said to me in 1980 (in response to the ad that was out at the time that said "Weekends were made for Michelob" beer)

NO... Weekends are made for people with 9 to 5 Monday to Friday jobs! LOL

Mickey and Minnie

I wonder how anyone can think there is anything close to gender equality when it is perfectly acceptable to give either a boy or a girl a Mickey mouse stuffed animal, but most men balk at giving their baby boy a Minnie Mouse one.

Kids and Crusts

I can't help but wonder, since so many kids want the crusts cut off of sandwiches, how come those same kids have no problem with hamburger and hot dogs rolls?
